"Forests and climate change" symposium : Call for abstracts !

The LIFE FORECCAsT project (coordinated by the Haut-Languedoc nature regional Park), organizes the “Adapting forests to climate change: methods, tools, and projects” European symposium in Toulouse, South of France, from 19 to 20 November 2019.


For this matter, it invites all European project holders, scientists and stakeholders to register to and submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations, to be delivered at the symposium. Several travel grants will be awarded competitively based on the quality of abstract submission.

NB: Abstract submission deadline is 31 August 2019, midnight.

The symposium will feature a wide range of talks, discussions and networking opportunities with European experts in the field of Forest Adaptation to Climate Change.

- Day 1 will focus on oral and poster presentations

- Day 2 will be dedicated to (optional) field visits to experimentation sites in the nearby Haut-Languedoc nature regional Park, as well as innovative field tools demonstration.
